My Simple & Scalable Ghost Theme Demo Setup on DigitalOcean

As a Ghost theme developer, I’ve opted to host all of my Ghost theme demos on a single DigitalOcean droplet.

Droplet Configuration

• CPU Type: Regular Intel
• Plan: Basic
• RAM: 16 GB
• vCPUs: 8
• Storage: 100 GB SSD

Benefits of Hosting Demos on One Droplet

1. I can manage all my demos in one place, saving time and effort.
2. Hosting multiple sites on a single droplet is often more affordable than using individual hosting plans for each demo.
3. With resources dedicated to all demos, I can fine-tune the server environment for optimal Ghost performance.
4. I’ve created a custom script to update all Ghost installations simultaneously (see my tip below).
