Aqua: A Free Mac-Inspired Ghost Theme
I made a new Ghost theme called Aqua. It is free, open source, and inspired by the visual language of early Mac OS X.
The idea was to make a publication feel more like using a desktop interface. The homepage uses Finder-style columns for topics and stories, with a preview that changes as you browse.
Posts open in a focused document window, while the Dock keeps Home, Search, Latest, and membership actions close by. The Latest page turns the archive into a simple visual grid.
Aqua supports Ghost 6, memberships, search, comments, custom fonts, and responsive layouts. It is built with Ghost templates, plain CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
